January 2021
After 10 months of closure, elementary school in Kenya are now open again. Many schools had to close down, also 70 schools in Ukunda could not start up again.
We are so happy with your quick help so that the school in Shamu could start up in less than a day we could buy 2 water tanks.
Just before the deadline they were at the school.
Thanks a lot to all the people who helped us.
In the country things are going on even if it is slower than usual.
We hope in 2 weeks to sow new vegetables and plant fruit trees.
Samuel is still in Kissi to help his mother, she has moved, we have donated a new bed, mattress and kitchen utensils and from next month someone will work to rebuild the house where she now lives and make it bigger and more solid.
The church has donated 1000 bricks and 5 bags of cement and we will double that next month.
Unfortunately Samuel got sick, first a little cold because of the big difference in temperature between Kissi and Ukunda.
When that was almost over he had a bad back, he recovered but his cold came back and he had pneumonia.
He hopes to travel back to Ukunda next week.
Your help is still needed.
We also have a hard time in this Corona time.
Every donation is welcome.
