How covid-19 effect the village shamu in kenya

Ukunda is a town on the coast of kenya.
Shamu is a rural village not far from Ukunda.
the shops in ukunda get their supplies from mombasa, but corona is not allowed to sail the ferry.
People can't go to work or they can't go home, food isn't brought and heavy rain can't work on the land, although we do our best when it's dry but remains difficult.
The prices of flour and beans have risen sharply.
We started with a fundraising please feel free to donate.

https://www.whydonate.nl/fundraising/closedown-ferry-becease-of-covid-19

with the money we make food boxes to share around the people in need.
Not only in shamu, but also in the slum of nairobi.
feel free to share it around, without our help, more people are dying of hunger than corona.

thank you very much.
